Running Around...

Bzzzzzzzzzzz… Buzzzzyyyy as a bee today! Running around like a loose chicken!

My colleague M was not in today as his wife was in labour so he had to take an emergency day off. All of us here were keyed up for him and his wife as this is their first-born child and obviously he’s nervous and thrilled at the same time! They both don’t really wanted to know the gender of the child coz they want it to be a surprise which was fair enough! So, poor MassyLassy got to take in some of his work load! Been running around like a mad woman on the loose! Running around here and there and everywhere and I think I’ve lost a few pounds! Well, I wished! Wishful thinking only! The whole day today been raining and it’s just cooling! Wasn’t as hot as yesterday, just lovely I must say!

Again, went for a drive with hubby and L last night and it was a good session! Didn’t crashed but managed to stall the car but only once, did well with my reverse round the bend and did reasonably okay with the 3 point turn! All in all very satisfactory! But still got to face the real deal! Got to face the examiner and I wonder when I’ll be able to take my test? Hmmn soon I hope, in next to no time!

Despite my very, VERY hectic day today, I managed to take some time to read a few bloggers entry and that makes my day. Something to get my mind off the frenzied day…

While waiting for the bus today, I saw this cutest baby you can ever imagine! Big round face with bright green eyes and such sweet, cute smile! Sigh! She just looked absolutely gorgeous! I make funny face at her and she laughed the adorable laugh! That too makes my day! Just that laugh from the baby makes me the happiest person! The child so pure and innocent! The mother on the other hand looks like she’s only 15 or 16 years of age. Hmmmnnn… A teenage parent… For her to have a child at such a young age where she herself is still a child – how she ever able to cope. But in this country, she will be able to cope, she won’t have any problem - Not financially that’s for sure. She won’t have to worry about getting her next ‘income’ even though she’s not working as she’s able to get Benefits from the government. That’s a privilege that they get here…

Well, different country different system isn’t it? Different laws and different lifestyles! Like chalk and cheese! I’m just a foreigner in this outlandish country, pay my taxes, work for my wages and get pleasure from the beautiful country as much as I possibly can! I’m just grateful that I’m given this opportunity to be able to be here and take this as my second home – well almost, not there yet! They say home is where the heart is… Well, at the moment, my heart is still in Singapore and the time is not right yet for me to call this country my home… Perhaps it will be different for the next 5 or 10 years, in all probability at that split second I’m able to call this my home… So at this moment I’ll be a tour guide for my families who would come to the UK for a vacation from Singapore and I will be their provider! I will provide free lodging, free tour, free food, free transport… everything will be free and I’m sure my Auntie Malu would like that! Ha! Ha!!!!

You will hate me for saying this but Darlin farted and it stinks!!! It smells vile!!!! He’s so mean! After he contaminated the room with his fart, he just left!!! Now how vindictive is that? Ugh!! Ewwwww!!!! So foul!!!! I can’t leave the room coz I need to post this entry and as a result, I’m pinching my nose while typing this away! I’ve got to endure this! Eiighhh!!! Where’s that air freshener?!!!! Kurang asam punya husband! Sekali aku cepuk baru tau!!!
