Another Week!

Weekend will be over soon and it's back to work for most of us! It feels that the weekend had just passed too quickly for me! I sometimes wished that we're given 3 weekends instead of 2, then there's more for us to do at home with hubby or kids (if you have one or two) etc or just go galavanting somewhere out in the country! But I guess it's just lucky to even get two weekends when for some, don't get any at all! Well, that's life ain't it? You've got to go with the flow! So many things to do yet so little time and so little kerchiiing! I guess whatever time you have, you just got to spend it with the one you love isn't it? Anyone watched Live 8 yesterday? Best performance for me will be Mr. Robbie Williams!

Today, I decided to call mak & ayah, hoping that sis will be there too but it’s unfortunate that she’s not there! Same old story! Busy with the business! Well, I expected it though! Mak was at my Aunt house with sis kids and I only manage to get Ayah! We talked for ½ an hr or so and told ayah to tell sis to ring me!

Well, it’s half four now and it will be about half 11 or 12 midnite there, I’m not really sure – well, something like that, which means that she might have gone home with the kids then! Sigh! What will it take for me to talk to you sis? Go back to Singapore? Will I then be able to talk to you?

How long has it been since we’ve spoken? Hmmm… from my calculation, I think it has been 4 months or maybe more since I’ve spoken to her! I sigh again! She’s busy, no doubt about that but what’s 5 minutes of chit chatting will it do to her business? A catastrophe I presume? I did e-mailed her but it will take ages for her to reply my e-mail, so I gave up! Tried texting but it’s too expensive for her and for me too! So, there you are! No communicado at all with my dear sister! I missed her dearly! I missed our chit chat over the telephone! I missed confiding in her and listening to her wise advice. I missed gossiping with her about – well, anything! I missed her voice, I missed her laughter, I missed her tenderness! She’s been my shoulder to cry on when I’m down in the dumps, she’s been my motivator when I started losing it, she’s been my angel all my life! She's always there whenever I needed her! She's my back-up partner whenever I'm in trouble, vice versa, she took care of me and I took care of her.

But now, since I left for the UK and she and abang have been extremely busy with their newfound business, we don’t chat anymore. Well, we do talk but not as often as before! Sigh again! There’s no friction or bad vibes going on between us, its just, I guess she and abang must be really busy with the business and all that! It’s their dream to set up their own business, and now that they’ve made it, I suppose they are working hard to maintain it and achieve that success they dreamed of! Like sis always said, “I’m doing this for the kids, me and abang and mak & ayah also! I want to give them a better future! I want to give them all that they’ve never have or dreamed of!” How noble of you sis! That’s how you are anyway! You always think of others and put other’s happiness first and not yours! You always have this kind, generous character in you and that’s why people just adore you! They looked up to you and hang on to every words that you say coz whatever you say always comes out positive and reassuring! You always know what people want to hear and you always make them feel better of themselves! You never put them down, you never turn them away whenever they needed your help, you’re just there for them 24/7. You bring out the goodness of everyone no matter how bad they’ve treated you. You just smile and said ‘It’s okay.’

When things went sour, you forgave him and you said he’s sorry for what he’s done and he repent… How easy of you to forgive him after all the lies, the abuse, the pretence… but that’s just you isn’t it? You see the good side in him and that’s why you forgave him and took him back… You were thinking of the kids… If it’s me, I wouldn’t let him get off so easily, but that’s just me!

I will always pray for your success and achievement! I wished I could talk to you once more and hear that sweet chirpy voice that I always hear 2 years back! But it’s alright! Next time eh sis? I’ll try again next weekend and again the following weekend until I get to talk to you! I will persevere and never give up! You hear me???!!!!

I love you always and can’t wait to see you soon! Come to think of it, I think I will see you next Year June or August (R’s wedding) Insya-Allah! Yes long way to go, but in 6 months time it will be 2006! Now how time will fly!!!!
