Itchy Nose, Itchy Throat!

My throat starts to itch and… Ahhhhh Chooooo! Nour!!!! Singapore bug has arrived to the UK and it’s coming to get me! Well, unfortunately it has caught me already! My nose is running (can't seem to able to catch up with it! Wei! Wait for melah!), my throat is itching (somebody please bring me that stick with fingers at the end where you scratch your back with!), my head is spinning (mabuk-Malay for Drunk already!, my eyes are watery and all I need is a good few days rest! But, considering that we are lack of staff at work, I don’t think it will be fair for me to leave Madam alone by herself, so that means I’ve got to get better by tomorrow or else… Or else what? Or else I could ring her up tomorrow and tell her that I’ll come in late – about 10am? Nah! I won’t do that. I’ll come in as per normal…
Ahhhhhhhhhhh Choooooooooo!

MS kept reminding me that I sneezed like a man – now how rude is that? So, I told him he sneezed like a girl, which is true!

All I can say/describe about Today is, it is a very long, tiring busy day for me and for others too.

As I laid down on the couch, flicking from one channel to another, a program caught my eye… ‘How Clean is Your House’! A weekly program where 2 ladies with their ever colourful gloves, will go to houses in the UK that are as filthy as a landfill site (if that’s filthy enough!). Ugh! The state of these people houses! You do wonder though how in the world were they able to live in such filth? This house that they are showing right now belongs to a man who works as a garbage man and it sure seems that his house is filthier than the tip he works at!

Just imagine – 10 years of dirt and literally an extension of gruesome graveyard of rotting rubbish on the floor, in the sink, maggots all over - all sorts of those small slimy creatures lying around with rotten food piled up on the floor, in the sink, on the stove… The toilet bowl with stains of whatever that you can imagine, the bathtub – stains from I don’t know what or where and with all these filth and dust and dirt around the house and in the air, it won't surprise you that it's affecting his health! You don’t even know what you’re stepping on when you walk around the house!! Floor? What floor? Where’s the floor? I don’t see any floor at all; considering the floor is covered with old newspapers, leftover takeaways, bits of crumbs, food… It’s just horrible! We all do wonder don’t we? How does this man can live in a house in such a state? You ask me, I ask who?

But of course, these two ladies save the day! They transform the grubby house into a spotless uncontaminated, unpolluted, dirt free, fresh, sparkling home for him to live in! Yes! It’s liveable now, thank God! Without beating around the bush, if my house ever turn out to be like that, I will burn it and build another house from scratch! Don’t care how much it’s gonna cost! I just can’t bear to see what’s hidden beneath those piles of junk, waste, rubbish – call it what you want! But for certain, I will make sure that that will not take place of course!
